The Nutcracker

Our Winter Performance presents a delightful one-hour adaptation of The Nutcracker. With free admission, and open to the public, it has become a beloved tradition with many families in our community. Students from all our classes come together to rehearse and perform in the auditorium at Northern Valley Demarest High School. Our dancers especially look forward to taking on different and more challenging roles every year as they move from being mice to angels or candy canes to snowflakes.

Spring Recital

The Spring Performance ends the school year in May and will feature excerpts from ballet classics such as Les Sylphides and Swan Lake. There are no admittance fees for the performance and the school supplies most of the beautiful costumes used in the show.

Special Performances

Several times a year our dancers perform at local schools or retirement homes, such as The Jewish Home at Rockleigh, and Harrington Park School. Our students enjoy these opportunities to dance and to perform a community service.
